Buick Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Buick cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. In October the price for a car is $104,571 increasing till $118,125 in November. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price rose somewhat going from $111,348 to $118,508.5. The average price has risen 12 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price ($128,717.5) during February and March.
The average price for Buick has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2020, the average price is $21,161.68. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($10,394) moving up till ($41,505)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 105 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 14 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($50,498.75) and the the last two years that were studied (2023, 2024) with a price of $57,553.5.
The graph that displays the price for Buick cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 95 % more affordable than the average price ($131,059). Next with a price of $26,948 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 21% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at $50,097.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Buick cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 91 % less expensive than the average market price ($131,059) followed by "Flexible Fuel" priced at $12,801. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Gasoline". It´s price is 47 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Gas" with a price of $45,866.
The graph displaying the average price for vehicles with doors shows that Buick automobiles with the cheapest price have 2 doors. They are 85 % cheaper than the average price for this model priced at $19,102. Cars with the lowest price have 4 doors and are 54 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
