Pontiac Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Pontiac cars have increased during the last 6 months. In October the price for a car is $114,803 increasing till $125,213 in November. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from $120,008 to $119,380. The average price has risen 7 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price ($128,401) during February and March.
The average price for Pontiac has gone through a significant depreciation in recent years. During the first sample analyzed, going from "before 2000" to 2007, the average price was $13,904.33. Please take note of of the significant depreciation in the prices between "before 2000" ($27,186) and 2007 ($14,333). During the next two years (2008, 2009) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 36 %. During the last two years, the car industry has had a strong deflation in its selling prices of -20 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from analysing the prices for the the preceding four years in a previous sample ($15,682) and the the last two years (2010, 2016) with a price of $12,495.
