Scion Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Scion cars have increased during the last 6 months. The average price in October was of $24,711. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at $23,669 during November. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from $24,190 to $24,203.5. The average price has had spectacular rise of 21 % with an average price of $24,196.75 during the previous 4 months and $29,170.5 during the most recent months in February and March.
The average price for Scion has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2004 and 2012, the average price is $8,630. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2004 ($5,361) moving up till ($14,419)in 2012. During the next two years (2013, 2014) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 123 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have experienced a depreciation of -8 % compared to the average prices for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from prices from the the previous four years in a previous sample ($17,807.5) and the the last two years analyzed (2015, 2016) with a price of $16,381.
