Pontiac Sunfire Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Pontiac Sunfire cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. In September the average price per vehicle is $4,468. During October the price went trough a strong deflation till $3,445. The following two months (November, December) the selling price went through a devaluation of -9 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from $3,781.25 to $3,750.5 during January and February.
The average price for Pontiac Sunfire has had a strong rise in recent years. During the first sample analyzed, going from "before 2000" to 2001, the average price was $2,683.67. Please take note of of the significant depreciation in the prices between "before 2000" ($2,952) and 2001 ($1,938). During the next two years (2002, 2003) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 83 %. During the last two years the price has remained constant with regard to the previous 4 years, going from an average price of $4,779.5 in 2004 and $4,643.5 during 2005.
