Nissan Armada

The Nissan Armada is one of the large SUVs available. It still has the box look and that has left it behind in terms of getting attention from consumers. Yet it is a great vehicle and very durable. In fact, it is considered one of the best large SUVs when it comes to towing capacity. It also has a solid powertrain that is hard to match.

The mileage economy is about 13 mpg in the city and 19 mpg on the highway. This is comparable with other large SUVs in the same class. The Nissan Armada offers a V8 engine that has quite a bit of power behind it. The transmission is a 5 speed which is fewer gears than its competitors. Yet the transmission is smooth when it comes to shifting and doesn’t hold back the power of this vehicle.

Handling gets good marks for the Nissan Armada and it has a great ride to it. The interior is very nice with more than enough room in the second and third rows of seating. It also features a large cargo area. There are smaller cargo locations in the cabin that make storing very simple.

The safety features offered with the Nissan Armada are a bit disappointing. For example, it doesn’t offer an upgrade for blind spot monitoring or a backup camera. These are usually offered to consumers within the realm of a large SUV purchase. There are options such as a Bose sound system and back seating entertainment system that consumers do like.
