Mazda CX-9

One of the sharpest looking mid-sized SUVs out there is the Mazda CX-9. This is a great looking vehicle that proves beauty is more than skin deep. The interior features are phenomenal and many believe they are better than what you find in luxury SUVs.

TheV6 engine in the Mazda CX-9 is very powerful. It makes this vehicle one of the best for handling and acceleration. It does well with fuel too – offering 17 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway. Most consumers agree this is a fun vehicle to drive, the steering and the braking systems are perfect, and they can easily get into tight spaces with it.

The interior features a touch screen for navigation and many of the other cabin controls. It can take a bit of time to learn how to successfully apply them. However, once you learn them many believe it a great benefit to the Mazda CX-9. While the front and second row of seats are roomy, there isn’t enough leg room offered for the third row. That area is best used for cargo or for children rather than adult seating.

The one area where the Mazda CX-9 falls short though is safety. It does have some basic safety features but not what other similar mid-sized SUVS out there have. Perhaps Mazda will take that into consideration as they vamp up for future re-designs of the vehicle.
