BMW Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for BMW cars have increased during the last 6 months. The average price in September was of $182,381. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at $190,177 during October. During the following two months (November, December) the average selling price rose somewhat going from $186,279 to $196,035.5. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from $191,157.25 to $189,579 during January and February.
The average price for BMW has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2020, the average price is $44,207.32. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($46,787) moving up till ($93,555)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 124 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 21 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($124,585.5) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2023, 2024) with a price of $150,184.
The graph that displays the price for BMW cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 93 % more affordable than the average price ($188,696). Next with a price of $39,527 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 4% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at $106,594.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for BMW cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 86 % less expensive than the average market price ($188,696) followed by "Electric" priced at $104,737. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Gasoline". It´s price is 36 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Gas" with a price of $119,669.
The graph displaying the average price for vehicles with doors shows that BMW automobiles with the cheapest price have 2 doors. They are 51 % cheaper than the average price for this model priced at $91,608. Cars with the lowest price have 4 doors and are 24 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
