The retail prices for BMW cars have increased during the last 6 months. In December the price for a car is $182,218 increasing till $192,807 in January. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from $187,512.5 to $192,646.5. The average price has risen 9 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price ($207,974.5) during April and May.

Price per registration year

The average price for BMW has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2015, the average price is $63,598. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($30,206) moving up till ($80,410)in 2015. During the next two years (2016, 2017) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 54 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 18 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($119,455) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2018, 2019) with a price of $140,778.

Price per mileage

The graph that displays the price for BMW cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 97 % more affordable than the average price ($206,725). Next with a price of $25,786 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 3% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at $98,154.

Price per fuel type

The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for BMW cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 81 % less expensive than the average market price ($206,725) followed by "Gas" priced at $50,878. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Gasoline". It´s price is 49 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Hybrid" with a price of $55,554.

Price per doors number

The graph showing the average price for BMW cars displays those with 5 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 92 % more affordable than the average price ($206,725). These are followed by those with 4 doors with an average price of $127,592. Cars with the lowest price have 2 doors and are 23 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
