BMW Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for BMW cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. During the first month analyzed in November the average price was $394,674. December went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till $661,176. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -69 % compared to the previous two months studied. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -53 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from $344,626 to $163,684.5.
The average price for BMW has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2018, the average price is $39,563.9. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($32,805) moving up till ($83,215)in 2018. During the next two years (2019, 2020) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 195 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 8 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($127,441.75) and the the last two years that were studied (2021, 2022) with a price of $138,148.
The graph that displays the price for BMW cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 94 % more affordable than the average price ($162,282). Next with a price of $38,573 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 3% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at $122,284.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for BMW cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 75 % less expensive than the average market price ($162,282) followed by "Electric" priced at $77,212. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Gasoline". It´s price is 13 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Gas" with a price of $133,714.
The graph showing the average price for BMW cars displays those with 5 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 87 % more affordable than the average price ($162,282). These are followed by those with 2 doors with an average price of $119,886. Cars with the lowest price have 4 doors and are 25 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
