Jeep Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Jeep cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in September the average price was $119,638. October went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till $273,201. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from $196,419.5 to $204,856. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -32 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from $200,637.75 to $136,217.5.
The average price for Jeep has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2015, the average price is $26,953.23. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($19,510) moving up till ($59,591)in 2015. During the next two years (2016, 2017) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 153 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 16 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($81,186.5) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2018, 2019) with a price of $94,050.
