Jeep Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Jeep cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. In January the average price per vehicle is $151,099. During February the price went trough a strong deflation till $121,336. The following two months (March, April) the selling price went through a devaluation of -5 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -15 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from $132,473.25 to $112,138.
The average price for Jeep has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2015, the average price is $31,178.18. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($19,398) moving up till ($54,384)in 2015. During the next two years (2016, 2017) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 88 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 22 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($74,640.75) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2018, 2019) with a price of $90,695.5.
The graph that displays the price for Jeep cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 88 % more affordable than the average price ($108,154). Next with a price of $30,467 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 8% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at $66,738.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Jeep cars points out to "Flexible Fuel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 81 % less expensive than the average market price ($108,154) followed by "Flexible" priced at $34,164. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Gasoline". It´s price is 24 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Gas" with a price of $40,216.
The graph showing the average price for Jeep cars displays those with 5 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 90 % more affordable than the average price ($108,154). These are followed by those with 2 doors with an average price of $46,467. Cars with the lowest price have 4 doors and are 25 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
