Newmar Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Newmar cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in November the average price was $71,206. December went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till $84,802. During the following two months (January, February) the average selling price rose somewhat going from $78,004 to $88,991. The average price has had spectacular rise of 25 % with an average price of $83,497.5 during the previous 4 months and $104,195 during the most recent months in March and April.
The average price for Newmar has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2016, the average price is $79,489.5. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($22,728) moving up till ($174,270)in 2016. During the next two years (2017, 2018) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 178 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 14 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($256,536) and the the last two years that were studied (2019, 2020) with a price of $292,376.5.
