The retail prices for Nissan cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in August the average price was $119,736. September went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till $213,722. During the following two months (October, November) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 20 % from $166,729 to $200,128.5. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -38 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from $183,428.75 to $113,820.5.
The average price for Nissan has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2016, the average price is $19,572.22. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($23,604) moving up till ($43,156)in 2016. During the next two years (2017, 2018) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 154 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 20 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($61,747.25) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2019, 2020) with a price of $73,794.
