Pontiac Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Pontiac cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. In July the average price per vehicle is $885,879. During August the price went trough a strong deflation till $682,123. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -56 % compared to the previous two months studied. The average price has had spectacular rise of 40 % with an average price of $564,204.75 during the previous 4 months and $788,260.5 during the most recent months in November and December.
The average price for Pontiac has gone down in recent years. During the first sample analyzed, going from "before 2000" to 2008, the average price was $13,710.1. Please take note of of the significant depreciation in the prices between "before 2000" ($21,509) and 2008 ($17,200). During the next two years (2009, 2010) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 43 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 43 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($34,732.75) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2015, 2017) with a price of $49,807.
