Pontiac Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Pontiac cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price for January is $126,256. During February there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till $116,914. The following two months (March, April) the selling price went through a devaluation of -10 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from $115,250.25 to $115,038 during May and June.
The average price for Pontiac has gone down in recent years. During the first sample analyzed ("before 2000" - 2008), the average selling price stood at $18,296.6. During this time, the price for "before 2000" which was $24,993 decreased to $23,248 during 2008. During the next two years (2009, 2010) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 37 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 33 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($37,428.75) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2014, 2016) with a price of $49,882.5.
