Saturn Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Saturn cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in January the average price was $12,709. February went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till $31,800. During the following two months (March, April) the average selling price rose somewhat going from $22,254.5 to $24,070. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -28 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from $23,162.25 to $16,646.5.
The average price for Saturn has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2007, the average price is $4,286.11. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($2,198) moving up till ($10,050)in 2007. During the next two years (2008, 2009) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 142 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 30 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years.
