Volkswagen Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Volkswagen cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. In January the price for a car is $85,092 increasing till $97,338 in February. During the following two months (March, April) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 25 % from $91,215 to $114,111. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from $102,663 to $107,488.5 during May and June.
The average price for Volkswagen has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2015, the average price is $25,201.77. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($16,813) moving up till ($33,965)in 2015. During the next two years (2016, 2017) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 57 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 9 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($43,713) and the the last two years that were studied (2018, 2019) with a price of $47,756.5.

They are 93 % more affordable than the average price ($97,446). Next with a price of $20,366 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. It is 11% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at $41,146.
