BMW 1 Series Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for BMW 1 Series cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in February the average price was $35,504. March went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till $49,554. During the following two months (April, May) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 17 % from $42,529 to $49,598. In the last two, the price has gone through a -5 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from $46,063.5 to $43,646 during June and July.
The average price for BMW 1 Series has had a strong rise in recent years. During 2008 and 2010, the average price was $17,416.67. During this period, prices pretty much remained constant. During the next two years the average price($17,374.5) has hardly changed, remaining at a constant value compared to the previous period. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 27 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($23,670) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2013, 2018) with a price of $29,965.5.
The graph that displays the price for BMW 1 Series cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 77 % more affordable than the average price ($37,657). Next with a price of $15,938 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 4% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at $23,367.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for BMW 1 Series cars points out to "Gasoline" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 65 % less expensive than the average market price ($37,657) followed by "Gas" priced at $14,039. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Gas". It´s price is 63 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Gasoline" with a price of $13,186.
