BMW 5 Series Vehicles have had a price that has remained pretty much the same during the last months. The prices for this particular model have remained constant recently.
The selling prices for BMW 5 Series cars have remained constant in the last 6 months. The average price in July was of $78,920. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at $79,384 during August. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from $79,152 to $77,066.5. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from $78,109.25 to $79,048.5 during November and December.
The average price for BMW 5 Series has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2020, the average price is $17,698. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($11,317) moving up till ($42,247)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 205 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 9 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($59,082.25) and the the last two years that were studied (2023, 2024) with a price of $64,205.5.
