Chevrolet Cavalier Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Chevrolet Cavalier cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. The average price in September was of $4,832. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at $4,625 during October. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -20 % compared to the previous two months studied. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -19 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from $4,260.75 to $3,441.5.
The average price for Chevrolet Cavalier has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2001, the average price is $2,137.67. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($2,075) moving up till ($2,459)in 2001. During the next two years (2002, 2003) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 57 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 10 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($3,714.5) and the the last two years that were studied (2004, 2005) with a price of $4,081.
The graph that displays the price for Chevrolet Cavalier cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 39 % more affordable than the average price ($3,541). Next with a price of $2,739 and a mileage range of "less than 10,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "50,000 - 100,000". It is 31% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "100,000 - 200,000" and a price of $2,755.

It is 45 % less expensive than the average market price ($3,541) followed by "Gasoline" priced at $2,233. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Gas". It´s price is 6 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Gasoline" with a price of $2,233.
