The retail prices for Chevrolet Corvette cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. The average price in October was of $163,711. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at $167,208 during November. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 27 % from $165,459.5 to $209,310. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from $187,384.75 to $185,739 during February and March.
The average price for Chevrolet Corvette has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2015, the average price is $47,315.12. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($38,218) moving up till ($72,953)in 2015. During the next two years (2016, 2017) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 77 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 16 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($99,441) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2018, 2019) with a price of $115,112.
