Chrysler 200 Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Chrysler 200 cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in September the average price was $30,199. October went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till $37,589. During the following two months (November, December) the average selling price rose somewhat going from $33,894 to $37,568.5. In the last two, the price has gone through a -14 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from $35,731.25 to $30,702 during January and February.
The average price for Chrysler 200 has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2005 and 2013, the average price is $10,274.38. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2005 ($8,722) moving up till ($15,592)in 2013. During the next two years (2014, 2015) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 88 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 9 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($21,192.25) and the the last two years that were studied (2016, 2017) with a price of $23,029.
