Ford Escape Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Ford Escape cars have increased during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in December the average price was $40,475. January went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till $47,018. The following two months (February, March) the selling price went through a devaluation of -5 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from $42,644.75 to $41,369 during April and May.
The average price for Ford Escape has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2001 and 2015, the average price is $19,946.07. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2001 ($5,519) moving up till ($23,936)in 2015. During the next two years (2016, 2017) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 47 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 11 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($33,078.75) and the the last two years that were studied (2018, 2019) with a price of $36,808.

It is 6% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at $28,442.
