Honda Accord Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Honda Accord cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in December the average price was $41,658. January went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till $50,050. During the following two months (February, March) the average selling price rose somewhat going from $45,854 to $52,416. In the last two, the price has gone through a -9 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from $49,135 to $44,861.5 during April and May.
The average price for Honda Accord has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2015, the average price is $19,046.53. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($7,787) moving up till ($24,788)in 2015. During the next two years (2016, 2017) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 54 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 11 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($32,953) and the the last two years that were studied (2018, 2019) with a price of $36,594.
