Kia Rio 5 Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Kia Rio 5 cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in August the average price was $13,763. September went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till $17,002. During the following two months (October, November) the average selling price rose somewhat going from $15,382.5 to $16,633. The average price has risen 14 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price ($18,266.5) during December and January.
The average price for Kia Rio 5 has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2012 and 2019, the average price is $13,131.88. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2012 ($11,746) moving up till ($17,786)in 2019. During the next two years (2020, 2021) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 41 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 5 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($19,598) and the the last two years that were studied (2022, 2023) with a price of $20,632.
