Mazda Protege Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Mazda Protege cars have increased during the last 6 months. In April the price for a car is $3,971 increasing till $4,250 in May. During the following two months (June, July) the average selling price rose somewhat going from $4,110.5 to $4,569.5. In the last two, the price has gone through a -9 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from $4,340 to $3,949.5 during August and September.
The average price for Mazda Protege has had a strong rise in recent years. During "before 2000" and "before 2000", the average price was $2,534. During this period, prices pretty much remained constant. During the next two years (2000, 2001) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 37 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 12 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($3,946.5) and the the last two years that were studied (2002, 2003) with a price of $4,412.
