Mercedes Benz C Class Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Mercedes Benz C Class cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price for July is $85,667. During August there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till $80,486. The following two months (September, October) the selling price went through a devaluation of -8 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from $79,936.25 to $78,263.5 during November and December.
The average price for Mercedes Benz C Class has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2016, the average price is $12,779.88. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($4,283) moving up till ($40,778)in 2016. During the next two years (2017, 2018) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 338 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 8 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($60,578.75) and the the last two years that were studied (2019, 2020) with a price of $65,232.5.
