Price for Mercury Marquis
Mercury Marquis Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Mercury Marquis cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. The average price for October is $4,120. During November there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till $3,653. The following two months (December, January) the selling price went through a devaluation of -13 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from $3,628.75 to $3,527 during February and March.
The average price for Mercury Marquis has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2003, the average price is $2,533.4. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($2,633) moving up till ($3,090)in 2003. During the next two years (2004, 2005) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 19 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 17 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($3,654.25) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2006, 2008) with a price of $4,292.

They are 25 % more affordable than the average price ($3,635). Next with a price of $2,847 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "50,000 - 100,000". It is 136% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "less than 10,000" and a price of $3,587.
