Volvo V70 Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Volvo V70 cars have increased during the last 6 months. In June the price for a car is $5,818 increasing till $6,627 in July. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from $6,222.5 to $6,368. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from $6,295.25 to $6,087.5 during October and November.
The average price for Volvo V70 has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2006, the average price is $5,586.88. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($3,729) moving up till ($8,094)in 2006. During the next two years (2007, 2008) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 32 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 11 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($8,340) and the the last two years that were studied (2009, 2010) with a price of $9,286.
