One of the great mid-sized cars to think about owning is the Pontiac G-6. It isn’t a sports car but it sure looks and handles like one! There are quite a few options under the hood of the Pontiac G6. The standard models come with a 4 cylinder engine. However, there are also two different V6 engines to pick from. There is also the option of either a 4 or 6 speed automatic transmission. All of the variety means consumers can get exactly what they want in terms of look and power!

The vehicle gets decent fuel economy, about 22 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway. Overall, it depends on the type of engine that is in the vehicle. There is less cargo space in the Pontiac G6 than you will find in other similar sized vehicles. The trade off though is that there is more leg room inside of the cabin.

Almost all of the safety areas are perfect with this car. It offers plenty of optional upgrades too including lane changing censors and a backup camera. There are 6 airbags that are featured on the vehicle. The GXP version offers the upgrade to electronic stability control.
