Volkswagen New Beetle Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Volkswagen New Beetle cars have increased during the last 6 months. The average price in October was of $10,710. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at $10,686 during November. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price rose somewhat going from $10,698 to $11,507. The average price has risen 11 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price ($12,370.5) during February and March.
The average price for Volkswagen New Beetle has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2008, the average price is $6,399.4. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($4,079) moving up till ($9,109)in 2008. During the next two years (2009, 2010) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 49 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 41 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($16,087.5) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2012, 2013) with a price of $22,615.
