Volkswagen Beetle Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Volkswagen Beetle cars have increased during the last 6 months. The average price in September was of $32,768. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at $32,934 during October. During the following two months (November, December) the average selling price rose somewhat going from $32,851 to $35,253.5. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from $34,052.25 to $35,588 during January and February.
The average price for Volkswagen Beetle has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2015, the average price is $9,939.45. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($10,723) moving up till ($16,883)in 2015. During the next two years (2016, 2017) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 98 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 14 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($22,983.75) and the the last two years that were studied (2018, 2019) with a price of $26,274.
