Price for GMC
GMC Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for GMC cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. In April the average price per vehicle is $195,068. During May the price went trough a strong deflation till $158,154. The following two months (June, July) the selling price went through a devaluation of -8 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from $169,651.75 to $168,991 during August and September.
The average price for GMC has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2020, the average price is $30,891.82. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($24,690) moving up till ($78,126)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 191 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 14 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($104,342.75) and the the last two years that were studied (2023, 2024) with a price of $118,657.
The graph that displays the price for GMC cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 82 % more affordable than the average price ($162,994). Next with a price of $56,394 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 9% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at $94,025.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for GMC cars points out to "Gas" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 47 % less expensive than the average market price ($162,994) followed by "Gasoline" priced at $102,935. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Electric". It´s price is 21 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of $103,876.
The graph showing the average price for GMC cars displays those with 3 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 75 % more affordable than the average price ($162,994). These are followed by those with 2 doors with an average price of $54,547. Cars with the lowest price have 4 doors and are 14 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
