GMC Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for GMC cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in December the average price was $108,010. January went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till $128,731. During the following two months (February, March) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 36 % from $118,370.5 to $160,650. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from $139,510.25 to $139,673 during April and May.
The average price for GMC has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2015, the average price is $37,628.23. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($25,094) moving up till ($58,788)in 2015. During the next two years (2016, 2017) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 70 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 13 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($73,212.5) and the the last two years that were studied (2018, 2019) with a price of $82,615.5.
The graph that displays the price for GMC cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 83 % more affordable than the average price ($138,185). Next with a price of $43,009 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 19% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at $70,308.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for GMC cars points out to "Flexible Fuel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 73 % less expensive than the average market price ($138,185) followed by "Flexible" priced at $63,745. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Gasoline". It´s price is 47 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of $66,419.
The graph showing the average price for GMC cars displays those with 5 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 94 % more affordable than the average price ($138,185). These are followed by those with 3 doors with an average price of $34,225. Cars with the lowest average price have 4 !doors and are 41 % cheaper than the average followed by those with 2 doors with a selling price of $49,922.
