Tesla Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Tesla cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in July was of $151,346. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at $147,179 during August. The following two months (September, October) the selling price went through a devaluation of -7 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. In the last two, the price has gone through a -11 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from $144,314.75 to $128,226.5 during November and December.
The average price for Tesla has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2008 and 2020, the average price is $55,180.73. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2008 ($19,718) moving up till ($84,541)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 81 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have experienced a depreciation of -5 % compared to the average prices for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from prices from the the previous four years in a previous sample ($94,770) and the the last two years analyzed (2023, 2024) with a price of $89,622.
The graph that displays the price for Tesla cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 79 % more affordable than the average price ($126,127). Next with a price of $50,961 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 0% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at $75,043.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Tesla cars points out to "Flexible" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 80 % less expensive than the average market price ($126,127) followed by "Gasoline" priced at $31,527. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Electric". It´s price is 19 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of $37,150.
The graph displaying the average price for vehicles with doors shows that Tesla automobiles with the cheapest price have 5 doors. They are 67 % cheaper than the average price for this model priced at $41,316. Cars with the lowest price have 4 doors and are 52 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
