Tesla Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Tesla cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price for October is $132,021. During November there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till $124,973. The following two months (December, January) the selling price went through a devaluation of -11 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. In the last two, the price has gone through a -6 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from $121,739.5 to $114,358.5 during February and March.
The average price for Tesla has gone through a significant depreciation in recent years. During the first sample analyzed, going from "before 2000" to 2020, the average price was $54,238.57. Please take note of of the significant depreciation in the prices between "before 2000" ($203,040) and 2020 ($76,869). During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 70 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 12 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($104,886.25) and the the last two years that were studied (2023, 2024) with a price of $117,622.
The graph that displays the price for Tesla cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 86 % more affordable than the average price ($115,751). Next with a price of $28,454 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 2% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at $80,590.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Tesla cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 87 % less expensive than the average market price ($115,751) followed by "Gasoline" priced at $30,745. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Electric". It´s price is 31 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Gasoline" with a price of $30,745.
