Volvo Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Volvo cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in March was of $98,014. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at $95,885 during April. The following two months (May, June) the selling price went through a devaluation of -12 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from $91,208 to $92,851.5 during July and August.
The average price for Volvo has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2019, the average price is $19,058.81. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($6,133) moving up till ($52,660)in 2019. During the next two years (2020, 2021) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 177 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 14 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($61,410.75) and the the last two years that were studied (2022, 2023) with a price of $70,045.
The graph that displays the price for Volvo cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 72 % more affordable than the average price ($94,502). Next with a price of $42,664 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 7% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at $59,686.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Volvo cars points out to "Electric" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 45 % less expensive than the average market price ($94,502) followed by "Gas" priced at $59,529. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Hybrid". It´s price is 31 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Gasoline" with a price of $60,358.
The graph displaying the average price for vehicles with doors shows that Volvo automobiles with the cheapest price have 2 doors. They are 85 % cheaper than the average price for this model priced at $14,117. Cars with the lowest price have 4 doors and are 29 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
