Volvo Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Volvo cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. During the first month analyzed in November the average price was $192,066. December went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till $300,894. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -67 % compared to the previous two months studied. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -50 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from $164,428 to $81,977.
The average price for Volvo has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2018, the average price is $16,144.65. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($4,240) moving up till ($55,119)in 2018. During the next two years (2019, 2020) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 290 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 9 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($69,528.75) and the the last two years that were studied (2021, 2022) with a price of $76,106.5.
The graph that displays the price for Volvo cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 79 % more affordable than the average price ($84,199). Next with a price of $26,500 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 1% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at $67,220.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Volvo cars points out to "Hybrid" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 38 % less expensive than the average market price ($84,199) followed by "Gasoline" priced at $56,186. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Gas". It´s price is 23 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Electric" with a price of $58,837.
The graph displaying the average price for vehicles with doors shows that Volvo automobiles with the cheapest price have 2 doors. They are 86 % cheaper than the average price for this model priced at $11,877. Cars with the lowest price have 4 doors and are 21 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
