Volvo Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Volvo cars have increased during the last 6 months. The average price in February was of $83,164. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at $83,424 during March. During the following two months (April, May) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 20 % from $83,294 to $100,000.5. In the last two, the price has gone through a -6 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from $91,647.25 to $86,016.5 during June and July.
The average price for Volvo has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2016, the average price is $11,554. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($3,210) moving up till ($42,835)in 2016. During the next two years (2017, 2018) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 373 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 16 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($65,415.25) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2019, 2020) with a price of $76,174.5.
