Volvo Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Volvo cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in May was of $85,735. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at $81,725 during June. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from $83,730 to $80,144.5. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from $81,937.25 to $78,162.5 during September and October.
The average price for Volvo has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2015, the average price is $11,779. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($3,215) moving up till ($37,234)in 2015. During the next two years (2016, 2017) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 339 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 12 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($58,683.75) and the the last two years that were studied (2018, 2019) with a price of $65,604.5.
The graph that displays the price for Volvo cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 79 % more affordable than the average price ($76,987). Next with a price of $36,190 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 1% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at $52,343.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Volvo cars points out to "Gas" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 56 % less expensive than the average market price ($76,987) followed by "Diesel" priced at $40,220. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Gasoline". It´s price is 18 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Hybrid" with a price of $46,910.

These are followed by those with 2 doors with an average price of $12,346. Cars with the lowest price have 4 doors and are 4 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
