Honda Civic Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Honda Civic cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in December the average price was $47,643. January went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till $61,482. During the following two months (February, March) the average selling price rose somewhat going from $54,562.5 to $57,339. In the last two, the price has gone through a -9 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from $55,950.75 to $50,839.5 during April and May.
The average price for Honda Civic has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2015, the average price is $15,866.12. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($7,420) moving up till ($22,404)in 2015. During the next two years (2016, 2017) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 87 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 12 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($33,670) and the the last two years that were studied (2018, 2019) with a price of $37,639.
