Toyota Matrix Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Toyota Matrix cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. The average price in January was of $9,152. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at $9,599 during February. During the following two months (March, April) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 16 % from $9,375.5 to $10,916. The average price has had spectacular rise of 19 % with an average price of $10,145.75 during the previous 4 months and $12,058 during the most recent months in May and June.
The average price for Toyota Matrix has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2003 and 2009, the average price is $6,075.86. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2003 ($4,863) moving up till ($9,024)in 2009. During the next two years (2010, 2011) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 50 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 7 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($9,780.5) and the the last two years that were studied (2012, 2013) with a price of $10,465.5.
