Toyota Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Toyota cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. In November the price for a car is $801,304 increasing till $897,779 in December. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -87 % compared to the previous two months studied. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -77 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from $479,322 to $111,903.
The average price for Toyota has become more expensive in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2018, the average price is $32,243.45. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($38,052) moving up till ($60,087)in 2018. During the next two years (2019, 2020) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 129 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 8 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($79,815.5) and the the last two years that were studied (2021, 2022) with a price of $85,952.
The graph that displays the price for Toyota cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 72 % more affordable than the average price ($112,447). Next with a price of $56,729 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 16% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at $89,076.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Toyota cars points out to "Flexible" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 65 % less expensive than the average market price ($112,447) followed by "Hybrid" priced at $55,132. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Gas". It´s price is 20 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Gasoline" with a price of $68,172.
The graph showing the average price for Toyota cars displays those with 5 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 74 % more affordable than the average price ($112,447). These are followed by those with 2 doors with an average price of $33,539. Cars with the lowest average price have 4 !doors and are 37 % cheaper than the average followed by those with 3 doors with a selling price of $56,929.
