Toyota Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Toyota cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. The average price for January is $201,855. During February there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till $174,562. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -18 % compared to the previous two months studied. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from $170,808.25 to $176,430 during May and June.
The average price for Toyota has become more expensive in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2015, the average price is $37,769.65. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($39,935) moving up till ($52,515)in 2015. During the next two years (2016, 2017) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 58 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 16 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($71,363.75) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2018, 2019) with a price of $82,888.5.
The graph that displays the price for Toyota cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 83 % more affordable than the average price ($130,175). Next with a price of $41,251 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 11% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at $63,696.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Toyota cars points out to "Flexible Fuel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 74 % less expensive than the average market price ($130,175) followed by "Gas" priced at $38,533. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Gasoline". It´s price is 39 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Hybrid" with a price of $50,575.
The graph showing the average price for Toyota cars displays those with 3 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 95 % more affordable than the average price ($130,175). These are followed by those with 5 doors with an average price of $28,574. Cars with the lowest average price have 4 !doors and are 33 % cheaper than the average followed by those with 2 doors with a selling price of $33,573.
