The Chevrolet Cobalt is a compact car, offered as a couple and a sedan. It is a basic looking vehicle with a back end that is a bit higher than the front. This gives it some visual depth and definition. It gets awesome fuel mileage with an average of 25 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway.
One of the complaints about the Chevrolet Cobalt though is that the back seating is very cramped. Even though it is designed to hold 5 people, there isn’t much leg room in that back area. The front seating area has more room but it could be uncomfortable for someone that is very tall or that has longer than normal legs.
There are two different 4 cylinder engines offered with the Chevrolet Cobalt. There is the 2.0 turbo charge and the 2.2. Both offer sufficient power to be able to accelerate and to pass with ease.
The vehicle also gets very good ratings for overall safety features. It has all around airbags and a frame that is designed to reduce overall impact. The price is very reasonable for the small Chevrolet Cobalt. There is something for just about everyone in regards to style, amenities, and price with this vehicle.
