Chevrolet Malibu Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Chevrolet Malibu cars have increased during the last 6 months. In September the price for a car is $68,891 increasing till $73,002 in October. During the following two months (November, December) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 18 % from $70,946.5 to $83,454. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -15 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from $77,200.25 to $65,428.5.
The average price for Chevrolet Malibu has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2020, the average price is $12,476.32. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($2,728) moving up till ($26,564)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 115 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 6 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($28,603) and the the last two years that were studied (2023, 2024) with a price of $30,427.
