The selling price for Nissan Rogue cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. The average price in October was of $61,507. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at $63,731 during November. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -40 % compared to the previous two months studied. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -25 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from $50,043.75 to $37,413.5.
The average price for Nissan Rogue has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2008 and 2016, the average price is $12,927. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2008 ($6,830) moving up till ($22,468)in 2016. During the next two years (2017, 2018) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 119 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 13 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($32,418.25) and the the last two years that were studied (2019, 2020) with a price of $36,536.5.
