Toyota Highlander

One of the commonly explored mid-sized SUVs is the Toyota Highlander. They have very good reviews and consumers seem to like the comfort and the overall body style that it offers. The body was upgraded for 2014. They are also impressed with the fuel mileage of 20 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway.

This vehicle has a 4 cylinder engine that is powerful and there are no issues with overall acceleration. It features great handling and overall it is a quiet and smooth driving experience. There is also a V6 available as an upgraded model.

Inside, the Toyota Highlander is very attractive. Both the first and second row seating offered are comfortable. There is plenty of legroom too. The third row seating is a bit more crowded so it is best used for cargo space or for smaller individuals to ride back there. There are several easy to access storage areas within the cabin. For example, there is a large shelve just below the dash.

Advanced safety features include a rearview backup camera, blind spot monitoring, and lane departure warning system. Some additional features available include a 12 speaker JBL sound system and rear seating Blu-Ray entertainment system.

Environmentally conscious consumers will be happy to learn there is also a hybrid version of the Toyota Highlander offered.
