During October there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till $151,311. During the following two months (November, December) the average selling price rose somewhat going from $155,300.5 to $175,966.5. The average price has had spectacular rise of 25 % with an average price of $165,633.5 during the previous 4 months and $206,344 during the most recent months in January and February.
The average price for Ford Mustang has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2015, the average price is $30,322.06. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($27,692) moving up till ($48,461)in 2015. During the next two years (2016, 2017) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 102 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 6 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years.
