Ford Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Ford cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. In April the average price per vehicle is $451,753. During May the price went trough a strong deflation till $308,698. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -18 % compared to the previous two months studied. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from $346,371.5 to $353,680 during August and September.
The average price for Ford has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2018, the average price is $52,289.15. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($52,160) moving up till ($87,731)in 2018. During the next two years (2019, 2020) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 102 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 14 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($122,796) and the the last two years that were studied (2021, 2022) with a price of $139,921.
The graph that displays the price for Ford cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 88 % more affordable than the average price ($374,820). Next with a price of $74,894 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 18% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at $129,743.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Ford cars points out to "Flexible Fuel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 82 % less expensive than the average market price ($374,820) followed by "Gas" priced at $119,299. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Gasoline". It´s price is 58 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of $125,885.
The graph showing the average price for Ford cars displays those with 5 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 96 % more affordable than the average price ($374,820). These are followed by those with 3 doors with an average price of $71,395. Cars with the lowest average price have 4 !doors and are 66 % cheaper than the average followed by those with 2 doors with a selling price of $105,479.
